Grand Opening
Josh and Mark were at the grand opening with a tent. We started out having people putt and anyone who made a putt received a free disc. Some people didn’t want to do that, so by the end, we were giving them away. The city was pleased with the turn out and the club got a fair amount of shout outs. We still have about 10 commemorative discs.
Work Parties
We have had 5 parties now, average 4-8 people. Gone 2-4 hours per day. Many holes are becoming playable, minus 14. Will take a lot of foot traffic and weed whacking. The next work party will be held at Saturday 8am on Oct 17, pending weather. The right side of 2 needs more work and Mark went in with a chainsaw to thin out the scotchbroom. Blackberries on hole 3 need to be pushed back. Greens work on 3 and 4. Widening fairways on wooded holes.
L&F
Greg has a lost and found box at his house. We have a budget from Lacey P&R in order to pay for the box to be colored. Greg will bill us for the cost and we’ll file for reimbursement from the P&R dept. We then need to pour a pad and then bolt it to the pad.
Other L&F
Evergreen L&F - Needs a way to prevent people from sticking their hands in and pulling discs out. Adding a sheet of metal could help from allowing access to the whole box. Or only make the gap wide enough for a disc. We would need a portable welder to make it happen.
Rock Shop L&F - The shop is acquiring discs fast and has over 600. Dave is requesting to sell them after the hold threshold.
PackEx L&F - Kevin at PackEx is asking to handle the L&F at Evergreen. He makes two calls during 60 days, and then sells them.
Lost and found will be handled as follows:
David Hyde will collect discs from Evergreen. Dave Cowell will retrieve discs from Woodland Creek, and Mark Hill will retrieve discs from Cuoio (once it's in place). Discs will all go to The Rock Shop and will be held for 60 days at which point they will be taken to PackEx to be sold.
Upcoming elections / Team Golf
Nov 3 is the next meeting, so nominations stay open until Oct 27 for board positions. Email SPSDGA@gmail.com.
Same with Team Golf, if anyone is interested in being on the team, send nominations in through email. We have 9 open spots with board members getting first privileges at the spots, then the remaining will go to nominations.

Up on DGS now. We are an affiliate with PDGA and the welcome message will get a code for a discount.

Woodland Creek Classic - 74 players, good time from all. Player packs were an Innova disc and other misc items from previous years.
Upcoming events
Quack of Dawn - Jeff is still planning on running Quack of Dawn. Working on getting sanctioning from PDGA. He will need help on a few dates. The league will run between Delphi and Evergreen.
Course Updates and ongoing work
Woodland Creek
Dave will start glow dubs on Fridays. Basket positions were discussed. A key will be given to the binder. Jeff and Greg were tasked with coming up with a defined schedule. A tree was down on 9, but was pushed to the side. The back trail going to 7 needs to be cleaned up. There was confusion about the uDisc layouts so Mark will look into how to get GPD access to the ambassador side of WCP.
Delphi

Evergreen State college
Between hole 10 basket and 11’s tee there is a tree down. Mark said he’ll grab the chainsaw.
St. Martin’s
They have at least 11 holes now and are actively being worked on. The word is they are trying different ideas before committing a new layout.
