Replacement locks at WCP

We have 48 new locks, Thank you Dave C! He has the rest at his house. Every position has a lock, regardless if the basket is in the socket.

Trailer Repair
James Murphy (long time member) and resealed the whole trailer for free. Thank you James!

New business

Cuoio
Work parties on all 18. Two work parties on 14. Need to start going through the bottom half of hole 17 needs to be cleared. 2 needs thinning on the right side. We’re going to rent a skid skeer but we need to wait for January until one is available. We’ll attack blackberries on 2, 3, 4 and 5, as well as any other clearing we want to do in the woods.

A couple more work parties will be scheduled for the year and then Mark will host a BYOP doubles event. The lost and found box needs a footprint so we can pour in the concrete to install. The city needs to approve any wraps or signage for the box.

L&F
Dave C states the current setup is working efficiently. 7 pick ups just today. Hyde drops them off at the rock shop. Dave gets the ones at WCP on Fridays. The club wants to keep the lost discs at one location, while they’re still pending pick up. Dave C has a verification system where the person picking up needs to show the text from him to retrieve the disc.

PackEx has downsized and Kevin is asking to handle Evergreen for convenience sake. The club would like to keep it in one central location though.

We still would like to send used discs past the expiration date to PackEx, batches of up to 50. Kevin is offering 10% on buying cards for the club.

Dave C delivered 24 discs to PackEx at the club meeting. PackEx will pay $3 per disc to avoid consignment. Discs that don’t sell can be donated to schools or sent to Trash Panda to be recycled.

2026 Events

Upcoming events

Quack of Dawn - Live on DGS, alternating between delphi and evergreen. Starts this saturday at Delphi. 8am - 10am tee times. Seed the ace pot from previous tournament. There will be prizes and games. $20 entry, $5 discount for members with optional ace pot.

Course Updates and ongoing work

Woodland Creek
Practice baskets in long positions need new concrete, perhaps in summer. They are very loose. Dave C installed an anchor on hole 7. Extended the basket at hole 9, so it sits higher. Then can be shortened when needed. Glow dubs has been going extremely well. 28 and 19 people for the last two events. LED strips on teepads and lights on baskets. 2 sleeves need a cap and Matt Crane can be commissioned to make those.

Delphi
A few course updates. But otherwise no updates.

Evergreen State college
Still a log down between 10 and 11. New one down left of 2, right of 17. The island needs some work.

St. Martin’s
Playing well, it’s all mowed. 11 holes total for now.

Cuoio Park
Spoken to above

Anything Missed

Tenino - Hubs City Disc Golf (Kyle Rakoz)

Not very much interested as of now. Schaefer has 14 holes. They are the baskets from Scott Lake. Has taken over Rotary Riverside park. The city is on board with using land and providing concrete for baskets/pads. Once a bond is passed, 9 holes will be added to the school. He’s working to get schools involved.
