Basket rentals
The City of Lacey will rent baskets for Cuoio (Terms slightly modified). They pay on a monthly basis. Revised contract extended through February.

Old business

Replacement locks at WCP
Lowe’s agreed to donate them and Mark checks in once in a while to wait for matching locks, but no luck. Mark sent out a request for locks from MasterLock through their donation program.

Trailer Repair
Nothing yet, a lot of events happening leaving no time for it.

Cuoio
Mark and Randall put out all the baskets and put out temporary tee signs. They put out caution signs but some of them have gone missing. Hopefully the city pulled them and will replace them.

First work party, James Phipps has volunteered July 25-26, Mark renting an excavator for him to use to dig out the holes. Mark will make a post for cleaning up after the heavy machine for anyone interested. The goal is to have temp tee pads. Tentative grand opening of the park is July 29.

Holes 1-5 are technically playable but the fairways that are cut out are 20 feet wide. Otherwise the woods are covered in nettles. Jack Lorber has schematics for benches that are used at multiple courses and hopefully we can get that approved for the course. We are optimistic that the first big work party will make a significant impact on the playability of the course.
 

New business

Insurance for work parties and events
We got insurance for our work parties and events through Levitt in Bellevue. We got a response and received a course. We didn’t want to sign the new contract with the City due to non-compliance with insurance so we needed to find coverage for $1mil. We are quoted $726 per year, which is half of what we paid last year. Motion made to pay for the policy, motion passed. 

Lost and Found
Mark gets numerous inquiries for lost and found discs at the courses. David Hyde said he takes all the discs from Evergreen to PackEx. We need to firm up L&F policy. Josh to follow up with Greg about what happens with Woodland Creek.

Delphi Winter League
Jeff wants to run the fall/winter league again, but would need help to run it. 8 weeks, November/December.

Senior Games -  Thank you Rick! 18 signed up. Was a good turnout.

Upcoming Events

Bag tag league

• Jul 11th St Martin - $10 entry. Registration starts at 9, discs in the air at 10. Rick will do a walkthrough of the Lacey Makerspace for anyone interested.
• Aug 8th Finals Woodland Creek Park - Player’s pack, $10 entry still. 2 rounds. Rick will be letting go of all his disc golf stuff, so it should be an exciting event.

2026 South Sound Classic - July 31 - Aug 2 - Fri Delphi, Sat Shelton, Sun Evergreen. Dips is doing scrip and vending. It’s a DGPT Qualifying event and a player can potentially get a card for next year. Mark will be ordering discs tonight. 152 players registered.

Trilogy Challenge - Aug 22 St Martin’s (tentatively). Mark will be running. 2 new discs and 1 existing disc. 3 people signed up. $35 to register.

Woodland Creek Classic - Sep 26.

Course Updates and ongoing work

Woodland Creek
Justin has said the parks will only be cut 3 times. They did a nice job cleaning up the fairways. A couple of poles are missing caps. A work party is likely needed. The new tee pad on 9 is completely overgrown. Hole 8 needs some trimming. Rick still would like to see the extra 4 holes near the driving range to become official. Still doesn’t seem like it’s doable. Some holes would need to be adjusted for safety. Rick also wants to see a raised island with bricks or landscaping concrete to make the island more prominent. Rick would like to have the city contact us if they are unable to cut grass.

Delphi
No updates at this time.

Evergreen State college
Basket 16 was stolen. Evergreen was contacted and they will replace it. Mark will touch up hole 1 island.
