Agenda
Old business
Cuoio Work Parties - Status Update
Tentatively, Oct 5 work party 9am till whenever. Bring gloves, machinery if you have it (cutters, saws, rakes, shovels, etc). Word will go out asap. All tee pads are on the property, just not in the right spot. We have a limit on volunteer hours, so it’s important we log the hours.
We also needs ramps for moving the brush hog in certain areas. Could go into the trailer.
Woodland Creek Classic / Bridge work - Status Update
It’s nearly done, but still not open. WCC will proceed.
New locks at WCP - Status update
Haven’t been purchased yet, made a motion to buy used locks at $15/piece from an anonymous source. Motion passes.
Short Course @ Delphi - Status Update
[Write update about short course]
Tentative end of October for harvesting additional teepads
Evergreen Kiosk/Basket Arrows - Status Update
Rob emailed the college about building a kiosk. The most recent ask was denied liekly due to changing in personel and the college needs to revisit our contract. Our latest contract states that doubles can be run without a fee, but other events will requirement rental. Possible locations: where the old trailer was, on the road, by hole 1, and at the end of the hole 18 walk-out.
Additionally, the lost and found basket could use some work as it seems some discs are getting stolen.
New business
Woodland Creek Basket placement
A concern was brought up about baskets moving. One party is concerned about baskets moving sporadically, but other parties want to see more variance. The resounding opinion is they should be moved as much as possible, in groups of two perhaps.
Raffle
We didn’t do a raffle last year, but it worked well in the past. Mark will be running a raffle at WCC this year to help raise funds for the volunteer work coming up. If anyone has anything they’d like to donate, it will be welcomed. Contact Mark Hill for donations. Will be taken from now until WCC.
Club marketing/email, reach out, membership drive
Josh will work on making a newsletter for sending out an email recap to our members. It’s also a good idea to let people know at events that our club exists and promote memberships along with the benefits. It would be beneficial to set the meeting at a consistent time and place.
Board/Team Golf nominations
Board members have first dibs on team golf. We need nominations. Deadline for nominations is a week before the next club meeting, October 27. Let a board member know if you’d like to nominate someone.
Current Nominations
President - John Anderson (Current)
VP - Rob Beach (Current)
Treasurer - Mark Hill (Current)
Secretary - Joshua Kendall (Current)
At-Large - Dave Wilkins (Standing down), Randall Roberts
Team golf will be a team of 9 members, with about 8 events between January and April. There are spots open and there will be a vote along with board voting. The intention being to reward people who have volunteered for the community.

Course Updates and ongoing work
Woodland Creek
Looks good. A leaf blower could be useful for blowing off hole 2 so leaf litter doesn’t collect unwanted water. Hole 9 has gravel that might need to be raked so it doesn’t get mowed.
Delphi
Possible work on drainage on hole 7.
Evergreen State college
Some island hole rounds could need replacing.
Cuoio Park
The parks want to know the club’s recommendation for baskets. DGA, Innova, Discraft are so far proposed.
New Disc Golf Course Leads
Tumwater Parks - None
Anything Missed
Glow doubles is possibly being planned at Woodland Creek
Leeroy is leaving our area. He donated a basket and a bunch of discs. Rick will be making a plaque for him. Thank you Leeroy for your service.
