Old business

• Top Rung beer fundraiser
  • Pushed back, raise some more funds to afford the total cost.
• Doubles at Delphi
  • Will officially meet with Delphi about it tomorrow.
  • Hopefully they will approve buying new locks and approve purchase of 2 new Mach Xs.

New business

• Stolen baskets at Delphi
  • Two new locks were installed that shouldn’t be able to be cut. Delphi to hopefully order more.
• Bag tag update
  • Still happening, 4 people at last event.
  • St martins, July 6 next event.
• Trailer license tabs
  • It will happen

2024 Events

Packex Disc Golf South Sound Classic - July 19-21 A Tier

• 181/208 players registered. 9 waitlist
• Mark has signed an MOU with DD to get a popup and feather banners for the event.
• Jeff is getting artwork to Mark first week of June.
• Delphi hole 12,13 will probably need to be trimmed before the tournament.
  • Josh will get the holes trimmed.
• Discs are ordered

Windfall Masters - Recap

• 140 people. Was a little windy and there was a lightning delay.
• How do we prevent 5 card backup on hole 10?
  • 3 card holes, longer breaks, alternate tee pads

Woodland Creek Classic - Sept 28-29

• Bridge update - Rick talked to a Parks guy, said they don’t have money. Won’t happen
• Needs to get up on Disc Golf Scene

Senior games at WCP - July 27

• Rick is running it.
• The event will stay on the disc golf side of the creek.
• Rick is waiting to hear from Justin.
• Special layout from Rick.
• Not sanctioned.
• 14 people currently signed up

Ace race - Aug 18

• John Babb will get it on DGS soon. At Woodland Creek.

Trilogy Challenge

• St Martin’s tentatively Sept 7 1-3pm. At WCP if it doesn’t get approved by the school.
• Mark will run it.

Odus Fall Open

• TBD

Rob is potentially thinking of doing a Space Race.

Course Updates and ongoing work 

Woodland Creek

• Hole 2 drainage - Jules wants to take rock in between 1 and 2 instead of bark. John will talk with Parks to see if there are any concerns.
  • John got approval that we can put gravel around the tee pads.
• The city put out a bunch of wood chips. They were spread on 10 and 13. Hole 1 has just enough. We need more.
• Thanks Rick for all the hard work on the course.
  • He wants to have a work party July 20.

Delphi

• Cell tower is still planned to be expanded a little. No word on when yet.
• Some trees may get cut down in holes 12/13.
• Missing baskets - will be addressed tomorrow in Delphi committee meeting.
• Holes 12/13 needs cleanup
  • Josh will handle before the tournament.
• Wood chipper is always appreciated.
• Hole 3 green area needs clean up. Josh will ask if grounds can handle it.

Evergreen State college

• Lost and found box needs work, but otherwise in good shape.

Evergreen Sportsman’s Club

• Dan Sulley asked for an update. We don’t have the resources to make the course what it needs to. Location is tough and we need bigger tools and more hands.

Cuoio Park

• They’re searching for ways to make money, hopefully February will still happen.

New Disc Golf Course Leads

• Tumwater heritage campground could be a good spot if anyone wants to camp and inquire with the owners.
