    4. Bag Tag Update
      1. Went well, finale went well.  Everyone got to play in the final, and two rounds with special layout at Woodland
      2. Lots of money and prizes for the participants
      3. Wesley took dub for the finals
      4. Next year is no bag tags, only points league, and the website will be used to score everything for points league

        1. 11 legacy members have signed up already
        2. Membership will open for the rest of SPSDGA at 8 pm this evening
        3. You will get a permanent number for the rest of your life no matter if you renew

      1. Big projects are in the near future, proposal to purchase one more brush hog weed waker

      1. Year in review will be released in November for the clubs 2022 accomplishments across the south sound

      1. 2 more events left, 1st one is this Saturday
      2. Last bag tag event is Oct 22 followed by finals, finals is invite only
      3. $500 added cash for finals between top 8 for finals

        1. Legacy Numbers, forever #’s just like the PDGA
        2. Reserved the 1st 100 numbers for our oldest members and developed a VIP list for guaranteed numbers
        3. Where do we want the cut off to be for the under 100 numbers?
          1. 2018 and before we could send invites to to get #s 30-100
      2. Member Keychains
        1. Do we want to do numbered membership keychains that people could use for bag tags, similar to the dog tags we did before
        2. If you sign up for the club you get a key chain but you have to pick them up at PackEx and its first come first serve
        3. Put up to vote and it has passed that next year the club will provide with membership signups a keychain with a number that can be used casually for rounds
      3. Membership Timeline
        1. Beginning of oct roughly sending out communication to legacy members prior to 2018 you get first choice of registration for 2023 early, first come first serve you get a chance to get a # below 100, early reg would be middle of oct for legacy members
        2. Then November 1st will be open registration for everyone else

    4. Women's Fall League at WCP
      1. Oct 2nd will run for 6 weeks
      2. Oct 30th is a bye week
      3. Clinics are at 9, check in 9:45, tee time at 10
      4. 14 holes at Woodland
      5. Cost is $20 for the entire 6 weeks
      6. Single round is $5
      7. If you want to play and not participate in scoring, just come and play
      8. viii. $2 mulligan per week is offered
      9. Ace pot will be available as well
    5. Couio Park Update
      1. Open house last night, and presented the early designs to the public
      2. Disc golf course was modified from what was proposed, however it will be figured out more when the city starts clearing the property
      3. City is very excited about disc golf and they are still finalizing the drawings
      4. More to come!
        1. Will be a park in 2024

    6. Evergreen Sportsman’s Club
      1. They approached the club about a month ago
      2. Shooting range near capitol forest
      3. Wants to see our plan and then will go from there
        1. Club will need large excavator as the land has already been logged and has 2nd growth on it
        2. Will be fee to play
        3. 60 acres
        4. 150 camp sites on site
        5. Large industrial kitchen to use for events
      4. Next steps is to find an excavator
        1. And finalize the design
    7. Evergreen College
      1. Club proposed a new area of land off F lot towards the water and trails
      2. Evergreen is looking into proposal
      3. Evergreen wants to make money on the Disc Golf Course
        1. How does the club monetize the course?
          1. Yearly membership with parking pass included?
          2. The club needs to find a way to start making money on the course for evergreen
    8. Trailer
      1. It is currently at Skyline and will be possibly picked up and taken to Long Beach
        1. Skyline purchased 18 baskets and already installed
      2. The Trailer has been a huge success so far
      3. Idea to add course logos that the trailer has been at and been successful in installing a course
    9. A Tier Plans
      1. South Sound Classic will continue to submit for A tier until PDGA approves it

      1. After a month if the discs don’t get claimed, PackEx purchases the discs from the club
      2. Idea proposed to purchase the discs with PackEx gift cards
        1. Cheaper for the shop to do it this way

        4. Easier for PackEx to manage
        5. Provides the club for gift cards to hand out

      1. Lacey approved putting bricks into the ground but gave us hard requirements around placing them in the ground with regular bricks
        1. Club will look into feasibility of the requirements on this and report at a future club meeting

      1. Lots of them, program working very well
      2. Currently PackEx has 200 discs at the shop
      3. PackEx would like to reduce the cost to the club to $4 instead of $5 per disc due to the time it takes to contact everyone

    2. Evergreen Sportsman's Club
      1. Contacted John about disc golf on their property, they are close to Mima Mounds near Rochester
      2. Right around 24 holes can be put into the property is the estimate
      3. They are meeting soon to discuss disc golf
        1. SPSDGA proposal would be pay to play $10 all day
        2. SPSDGA would be committed to building it and maintaining it
    3. Non Profit Status for the Club
      1. Proposal to look into a federally recognized non profit status like the Kitsap club
      2. John will research and report back to the club his findings
    4. Next Steps at Evergreen
      1. Proposal to pour a 5x5 slab of concrete between 10-13s tee pad for port-a-potty to be set up and used during tournaments

        2. Mark will look into location and viability of this
      2. Idea around Geoduck Open a 3 round, two day event

        2. Idea to have in June around Beaver State Fling timelines to encourage players that are in town for that to play here

    8. Sponsorship Tiers
      1. A list of sponsorship tiers for our events was made Pre-Covid
      2. Never got utilized as during covid the businesses were not willing to fundraise or put money towards other events they didn’t already have a relationship with
      3. We will review and revise the sponsorship tiers if needed and start to utilize this again in 2023
    9. Club Fundraiser Discs
      1. $20 a piece
      2. will be available at PackEx or with some board members
    10. New Membership Pricing
      1. Thought to raise prices with new improvements the club continues to add including bag tag entry on the website which has increased our hosting costs, and improvements at Woodland, Evergreen and Delphi.  We continue to put the money you pay for your membership back into the events and courses you love to play

    13. Woodland Creek Classic
      1. Idea of SPSDGA invitational in the spring of 2023 and move Woodland creek classic to the fall, this allows our members only to play the special 20 hole layout first, and then moves the traditional fundraising C tier event to the fall
      2. Also idea of doubling the capacity of the fall tournament, doing AMs saturday and Pro + MA1 on sunday for 2023
      3. SPS invitational 2 rounds of 20 layout 1 day idea
        1. Then South Sound Classic BYOP Fundraiser the next day

    14. 2023 Woodland Creek Classic
      1. Jeff has announced the 2023 classic will be his final classic running the event
        1. If you are interested in learning how to be a TD and run a event please reach out to Jeff Snowden and Mark Hill
        2. Planning for the 2023 WCC will start in Oct / Nov

      1. August 20th and 21st, Mixed event
      2. Signs ups are on Disc Golf Scene
      3. Rob Beach is the TD for this event
        1. The event will not have a players pack, instead your signups will go to payouts
      4. Most likely changing to 1 day event, more to come on this
    2. Odus Fall Open
      1. Sept 16-18 2022, 3 day event
      2. 1st round at Evergreen
      3. 2nd and 3rd rounds at Delphi
      4. Looking for event donations still as well.  SPS Raffle will be held at Delphi saturday for Odus fall open, you do not need to be present to win
      5. Will need a few people to help set up the morning of the event and a spotter will be needed

      1. There are things that we have to design around
      2. Lacey has specific requirements about the property
        1. Hiking trail, wetland buffer, access roads, cross country track
      3. Goal is to have a 9000 ft par 60-61 course
        1. We will be limited by the woods holes to get to 9000 ft
      4. John A is point of contact for the club on the Couio project
    2. Basket Rental Program
      1. The baskets are rented currently
      2. Program has been successful so far, and interest is continuing to build as the word gets out
      3. July 4th weekend is tentative to have them at longview
      4. Skyline wants the baskets for two months - down by lucky mud
    3. Course Maintenance Needs
      1. Evergreen
        1. Tree at 12 to 13 needs cut, blocking path
        2. Mulch needed from paths to 7-8
        3. Path from 3-4 needs filled in (big roots)
        4. Hole 9s pad in the front needs evened out
      2. Woodland Creek
        1. Hole 11 needs trimmed and chipped
        2. Hole 10 needs more chips
        3. Hole 2 needs more long term thought on fixing the mud and drainage issue happening there
      3. Delphi
        1. Tee Signs are needed
          1. Goal is to have them installed before Odus fall open
        2. Holes 12 and 13 may need weeded, club will assess needs soon

      3. SPSDGA will maintain the courses once the course is installed
      4. Initial master plan calls for 18 hole course first than additional 18 hole course in the future.

      1. 1st priority is platinum members to be included on the site
      2. Making the club notes better on the site
      3. Creating a spot to allow you to input volunteer hours on the site to better allow the club to track hours
      4. Bag tags will continue from the system that started in 2021
    9. How do more events in the South Sound happen?
      1. What entails running an event?
        1. Lots of moving parts
        2. Mark and Jeff are willing to train folks on how to run successful events
      2. South Sound area could be drawing folks from Portland area or Seattle more if more events are run
      3. Our club has courses that people like and events that are run smoothly
      4. The club in general needs more people to step up and learn how to run events, host doubles, run leagues, and learn how to do all the behind the scenes moving parts

      4. Next steps for trailer and basket rentals:
        1. Itemized list of contents including wheel, locks, paint, a frames, tools, etc
        2. Lockable shelving units for variable pricing of rental equipment
        3. Finalize pricing for equipment as time goes on
